Northern Star

Northern Star is a life skills program for young adults that aids in a successful transition from a group home to independent adult living.  Northern Star exists to connect young adults with families and resources in the community in order to give them a sense of lasting family and belonging.

Items Needed Often or Always: Duffel Bags, High-Efficiency Laundry Detergent, Dryer Sheets, Copy Paper, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Face Wash, Bleach, Shaving Cream, Over the counter medications (Tylenol, Motrin, Midol, Claritin, Etc.), Household Cleaning Products, Non-Perishable Food and Snack Items, Legal Size Envelopes, Wal-Mart Gift Cards (Used to buy clothing for specific kid’s sizes) Books that are stories of inspiration, G or PG DVD’s. Please place in the bin outside of the Fellowship Hall.

At this time, we do not need donations of toothbrushes, toothpaste, blankets, pajamas, shampoo. RCH cannot accept donations of food past its expiration date, make-up that has been used, books or video games rated higher than PG13 or M. Thank you!
